Our summary is divided into two parts: 1) Business and 2) Social and International
Vietnam’s business scene is very active and, despite recent economic storms, demonstrates it's tremendous potential. As a country of 84 million residents, it still has great need for internal improvement through various infrastructure projects, and it has many resources for companies looking to outsource services and manufacturing to cut rising costs.
It continues to reach out to other countries while internally struggles with the notion of democracy in the form of multiparty politics and social freedoms which are common in most societies. A commentary on Religious Freedoms and human rights is one of the articles picked up this week.
